Exceptionally artistic and a talent that sets the bar higher than any other are two ways to describe Clay McClinton but they are most assuredly not the only two. Forging his own brand, creating his own kind of sound and sharing it world wide is at the heart of this down to earth Texas born entertainer.
There’s no one like him and probably never will be. Clay’s one of those natural born talents that once you have the opportunity to enjoy his music you’ll be a fan for life. Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas he shares some of the most soulful and moving lyrics that a singer has ever recorded. His music isn’t just a melody with words; it’s a work of lyrical and musical art.
Clay’s music has been dubbed Americana, Rock-a-Billy Blues and Honky Tonk with a mix of Country. His passion for music transcends the boundaries of the United States with his fan base propelling him into many different parts of the world. Clay has toured from Norway to Denmark on the European shores and each year Clay bestows on his fans the pleasure of not only enjoying his music but enjoying some of the world's most beautiful places when he performs on the Sandy Beaches Cruise with his dad, Delbert McClinton, along with other all star entertainers every January.
While growing up and having the opportunity to travel during his teenage years with his Dad he performed and learned the ropes of a touring musician while finding his own place in the world for presenting his moving impression of what the music means to him. It doesn’t come from just picking up the guitar; it comes from within.
Currently touring throughout Texas and the South East, and promoting his third album “Livin’ Out Loud” Clay is busier than ever. This new album is a powerful example of the true talent that Clay presents and of the powerful force behind his music. This album expresses a broad range of emotions from the joys of love, family and fun, to exploring the world, to keeping true to your roots and even of loss and heartache with the expression of how hard work pays off. Fans can now hear the new album on Pandora Radio and visit to purchase Clay McClinton merchandise.
